About us

​​​Start2Jog is an England Athletics Affiliated club based in Glossop, Derbyshire. The club was formed in 2015 and membership has been growing steadily since. We currently have around 140 active members and we cater to all abilities from people new to running all the way up to National Level athletes. We have three groups within the club - Advanced, Intermediate and Improvers group as well as a junior division which is open to 12-18 year olds. We train and compete on the road, trail, fells, track and we also participate in the Manchester cross country league every winter.

We have the largest and most qualified Coaching team in Derbyshire. We have qualified coaches who are fully DBS checked and who can give you advice on all aspects of running from selecting shoes, nutrition, stretches, training schedules, local routes etc.
